Membership

Membership of the club is open to all - not just to members of the university. (The majority of members are, in fact, non-university.)

You can have beginners lessons and borrow racquets before you join, and the professionals - Alan and Andrew - will be happy to arrange a few matches as an introduction.

Fees and charges
There is a one-off joining fee of £50

Membership fees
Students: £40 per annum
Under 28 members: £60 per annum
Full members: £205 per annum
(This is reduced to £60 p.a. for "country" members
- those who live more than 40 miles away.)

Court fees
Full members: £7 per person per hour (£8 at peak times)
Students: £4.50 per person per hour
(Racquet hire is £1.50 per hour)

Professional coaching
Seniors: £20 per hour (plus a court fee for one, i.e. £7 or £8) or £15 for 45 minutes
O.U. Students: £11 per hour or £8 for 45 minutes (plus a subsidised court fee i.e. £2 or £1.50)
